Weekend Pickin' Finds!

Hi Pickin' Peeps!
Happy Memorial Day!

Okay so Saturday I went on a Pickin' trip with my Bestie. Yes I left honeybear at home to do other things with the kiddos.

Donna and I always have such fun on these type of outings. She is like my sidekick!   And sorry but I didn't snap a pic of either of us because I just wasn't thinking.

Today is just a few pics from the day and mostly pics of my awesome finds.

The rest of the week I'll do several posts showing you all the great places that we went to.  It's just too many photos to do in one post.

This was a cool handpainted sign we saw at a little shop.

Cool old building we came across!

Old bin full of vintage tools.

Great way to store all your old vintage glass door knobs.  Love how this looks.

Basket full of wheels...cute display.

Awesome Roster sign on the side of one of the buildings! LOVE!

This is a balancing system....PRE-COMPUTERS. Will look awesome on a shelf in my studio!

Amazing box of old slides from cities all over the world! SCORE! Especially because I have a slide converter. Whoop Whoop!

And my favorite piece of the weekend. It's a film reel splicer.  I also scored some film reels.  I can use those in my altered art. Exciting! And the splicer will display nicely with all of my vintage cameras.

I also scored lots of old ephemera to use in altered art for pennies.

And lastly a big box full of old vintage road maps. For $5....ALTERED ART people!

So I hope you are enjoying the pic posts of all of our picking trips.

Please join my blog and leave a comment and tell me what you think. Oh and if you are a crafter or into mixed media, please check out my art blog at www.mycreativelyvintagelife.com.
